Nubian King, Advisor and Guard Officer
The King of Nubia was always a threat to the borders of ancient Egypt. The skull-cap crown and sceptre of the Nubian king are based on examples excavated from Nubian royal tombs. The king is accompanied by a priest or advisor who carries a staff adorned with the ram's head of the god Khnum. There is also a Nubian officer equipped with a pole-axe and separate shield. This set was sculpted by Tim Prow and painted by Paul Sanderson.
